A series of acrylic works, each 21 x 30 cm.

This collection was born from a few precious days in Donegal earlier this year. I felt the need to step away from the everyday, slow down and reconnect with nature — to give myself the space to simply look, walk, breathe and be inspired.
I rented a little shepherd’s hut overlooking the sea in wild and wonderful Donegal, with my trusty dogs, good coffee and the landscape on my doorstep.
Somehow, that was all I needed.
Those days became the starting point for Remembered Landscapes, a collection that continues to grow and evolve as I explore the way places stay with us long after we have left them.
I often describe making these small paintings as sculpting with paint. I build them up layer by layer, adding, removing and revealing until something begins to emerge — almost like carving into a rock to discover the image hidden beneath.
Each piece is framed in beautiful oak with gallery glass. They work equally well as individual paintings or grouped in collections of 2, 3, 4 or 6, where the changing colours, moods and rhythms begin to tell a story of different days and different moments remembered.
